Charlie Stahl is the absolute best I've ever seen in the 3 states I've lived in! He brought the vision of my master bathroom design to life. He was the first contractor ever where I did not have to follow and inspect his work - he always did it right the first time without any prompting - a true professional and craftsman! "Excellent" does not begin to express the superb caliber of his work and how wonderful he, his staff and subs were. Charlie was awesome to talk to - great to bounce ideas off of, brainstorm different ways to achieve the desired results, open to questions and explained the best ways to get the job done. We have worked with Charlie on two major renovations on an old Victorian house in Brookline. He is a true professional and an amazing craftsman. He built three bathrooms, a kitchen, an apartment and all the work needed to preserve the foundation of the house. Charlie's carpentry is superb. His ability to solve all the problems our old house presented was remarkable. He is also a wonderful person- intelligent, personable and a pleasure to have in my home. Charlie came to me by with glowing recommendations by way of a friend, and he has far exceeded my every expectation and hope. Charlie is a true artist, and his attention to detail is astounding, leading to a spectacularly beautiful finished product. As importantly to me, Charlie always carries himself with the utmost professionalism and is someone in whom I have full confidence and trust. His time and cost estimates were incredibly good and he was transparent and accommodating throughout.Choosing a contractor and carpenter is a big decision and I can say without reservation that there's nobody better.
